Into this New Year! There's No "Whoa!!!!"

I looked up the word 'gallop' in the Oxford Dictionary (e-version)
In general it refers to the running of a horse, with its 4 legs off the ground in each stride
An amazing feat - for a horse
An impossible feat for me
since I have enough trouble walking, much less running/galloping

However, figuratively, it could mean progressing rapidly in a seemingly uncontrollable
manner hence the meaning of this blog

As written before, a fountain pen scratching across paper happens before opening a laptop to 'blog'
Plenty's happened since August 2007
with lots more coming
writing about that on a daily basis can be a bit much
sharing the raging hateful blaming moments and then wincing while reading those past moments
it takes some getting used to
like the group changes over the last 6 months

Anyway
between this front page and my personal blog space
I'll continue to make an attempt to communicate the goings on in my life
leaving Angela and Laura to share their joys & triumphs
Angela's enjoying sub-zero temperatures & snow powder in Montana
Laura's creating a new home - newly married this past November

I progress rapidly in a seemingly uncontrollable manner towards a book-writing
project
learning from 2 authors the secret to writing
writing determinedly (is this a word?)
I slammed into the figurative wall of film editing and
I refuse to expound on an area of my life where I am currently failing (temporarily)
I'm thankful for new-found friend Richard Polite offering his editing skills to complete a 30 minute short piece

2007 ended with me continuing growing as a person
That can't be too bad
